The eurozone’s final consumer inflation reading for October remains the focal point for the region, as traders await confirmation of price pressures and their potential impact on European Central Bank policy. 

The benchmark posted its first four-week losing streak in two-and-a-half years on Friday, hit by disappointing earnings, a jump in Treasury yields and concerns about the impact of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s policies on global economies and businesses.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.30% or 0.89 to $67.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.27% or 0.92 to hit $71.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 7.40 to trade at $2,565.50 a troy ounce.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.72% or 0.49 to $67.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.64% or 0.46 to hit $71.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.99% or 25.50 to trade at $2,561.00 a troy ounce.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.15% or 0.10 to $68.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $72.01 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 6.00 to trade at $2,612.30 a troy ounce.

Asian stocks tumbled on Tuesday dragged by Chinese markets and chip shares as investors worried about U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s policies, while bitcoin hit a record peak on bets on assets that are set to benefit from the new administration.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $70.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $73.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 14.90 to trade at $2,679.90 a troy ounce.

European stock markets edged lower Friday, as investors digested a volatile week that has included political turmoil, key central bank decisions as well as more corporate earnings.

U.S. stock futures and the dollar surged in Asia on Wednesday as investors wagered Republican Donald Trump could win the U.S. presidential election, though officially the race remained too early to call.
